| Our congratulations and prayers on the happy occasion of two ordinations in our community in Italy. On April 17, Fr. Paolo Maglione, M.SS.CC., was ordained to the priesthood in Rome. Also ordained to the Diaconate was Bro. Sebastian Dias, M.SS.CC., from our Indian community. Both Fr. Maglione and Bro. Sebastian are continuing their studies at the Pontifical University in Rome. |

WELCOME, FR. FREDERICK!! |

| Fr. Frederick Clement, M.SS.CC., arrived in Linwood from our Indian community July 6, 1999, on his first visit to America. Fr. Clement will live and work here for several years. Fr. Frederick entered our congregation in 1986 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1994. He holds degrees in philosophy, theology, a master's in psychology and a diploma in formation. He comes to us from the community in Kuchipudi where he served as rector of the mission and school last year. Father Frederick is looking forward to the experience of learning and understanding American culture and most particularly how families here function. He hopes to be of help to them as they deal with the demanding lifestyles many struggle with. Eager to serve and be among people, he hopes all will come to learn that he will always be available to guide and support in keeping their families strong. |
