Beatification Update…. |

| The Beatification process for the Founder of the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts, Ven. Gaetano Errico, has been a lead story in our last two Newsletters. We are joyous and humbly grateful to God that we can announce to you that on April 24, 2001, Pope John Paul signed the final decree of beatification. At the motherhouse of the congregation in Naples, Italy and in out communities around the world, joyous Masses of Thanksgiving were offered for this wonderful moment in out history. Fr. Luigi Toscano,M.SS.CC., Superior General of the congregation has indicated that the date of the official beatification ceremony will be announced in November and may possibly be scheduled for soon after Easter. A pilgrimage tour from the United States to attend the ceremony for those wishing to share in this glorious event, is in the early stages of planning. |

May we always remember… Our heartfelt prayers are with the families of the victims of the World Trade Center and Pentagon disasters and those of the fatal flight in Pennsylvania. Surely the victims whose lives were taken will merit God's mercy and will be held close to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We know you join us in prayer as well and in asking our Heavenly Father to instill peace and tolerance in the hearts of all mankind |
