Pope John Paul arrives on the steps of St. Peter's for the Beatification ceremony  and solemn Mass.

Fr. Michael Messaro, M.SS.CC. & Fr. Robert McDade, M.SS.CC. con-celebrate Mass for the pilgrims from America at the church of Our Lady of Sorrows in Secondigliano, Italy.  The church was built by Fr. Errico in obedience to a vision of St. Alphonsus and Our Lady.

Relics from the six beatified are presented to Pope John Paul during the ceremony.

Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts from Italy, America, South America and India await the start of a Mass of Thanksgiving on the day following the beatification at St. Maria in Campitelli near in Rome.
