As
items were being gathered for this issue of our newsletter, I looked
again at the inspiring photo of Fr. Leonard celebrating his 68th
anniversary of ordination and the photo of Bro. Robert who is in the
beginning years of preparation for ordination. I reflected on what the
priesthood has brought to Fr. Leonard and what it holds in store for
Bro. Robert. Certainly there are wonderful moments of knowing that you
lead others to deepen their faith, but also moments when words will fail
to comfort profound suffering. There is no magic secret to living it
all…..there is only the sustenance of personal prayer and the reminder
of the promise made to live humbly, following God’s will in complete
service to His family on earth. There is always of course the strength
that comes from the gracious prayers of dear friends like you, so valued
and needed. I hope you join me in praying that God will bless Fr.
Leonard who continues to live his priesthood faithfully and Bro Robert
as he moves toward priesthood
