Parishes
staffed by our Missionaries in Linwood, NJ and Fairfield, PA,
joyously celebrated the canonization of St. Gaetano Errico. On
October 12, while the canonization was taking place at the Vatican,
St. Mary's in Fairfield, PA, was marking the occasion with a Mass of
thanksgiving. His Excellency, Bishop Kevin Rhoades, Bishop of
Harrisburg joined the community in honoring St. Gaetano.

Bishop Rhoades venerates a relic of St. Gaetano Errico.
Upon his return from the canonization, Fr. Malcolm Macleod
concelebrated a Thanksgiving Mass with other members of the
congregation at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Linwood NJ. During his
homily, Fr. Malcolm shared how he was touched by the outpouring of
love by the people of the town of Secondigliano, Italy where the
motherhouse of the congregation is located. "It was clear that they
had long ago accepted St. Gaetano as a saint. The official
canonization was an extra measure of what they all knew in their
hearts of Gaetano Errico."
