hat will tomorrow bring? I know we are supposed to only live in today...putting the past behind us and letting tomorrow take care of itself. But if you are like me, you find that hard to do. Today, too, our news broadcasts and television commentators give us so much to think about with warnings and predictions. For me, working to help my congregation cover its present needs, looking ahead too far causes concern. The support of our missions and apostolates is tied to the state of our economy and reliant on the generosity of donors and benefactors who, themselves, are cautious and may be suffering their own difficulties. Believe me, I understand those feelings. But when I feel particularly worried, I turn to my beloved Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and something always happens to remind me to not
be afraid. Sometimes it is in the day's scripture readings, or in the supporting words of a friend or Confrere. We are blessed by so many dear friends like you who have continued, despite the uncertainties of today's world, to pray with us and so graciously give your support. May God be with us all in these troubling times.

May the peace and love of Christ fill your hearts,
Father John, M.SS.CC.
